5 Picnic Tips & Hacks

Protect your vintage blankets and charming quilts from the damp grass by laying a shower curtain or plastic table cloth down first. I always have a couple extra plastic table cloths on hand that I have picked up at the Dollar Store.
Pack heavy items in your picnic basket first to avoid squashing soft items.
Pack a knife, you can’t cut anything with plastic silverware.
Frozen water bottles serve as both a great ice pack to keep food chilled and as a cold beverage as the ice melts.
If you’re at a picnic table on a windy day a fitted sheet makes an excellent picnic table cover and it won’t fly off with the wind.
