"I believe the only fitting response to His pursuit of our hearts

is to wholeheartedly seek Him in return."

Jennifer McCaman

"Neither my experiences, nor my plans should move me, only God."

Rebekah Peters

Jesus wants you to live victoriously.  Paul knew a little about this. In Acts 27 Paul went on a ship as a prisoner, but before long, he was the master of the ship!  When others had given up, Paul announced that God would spare their lives. Paul lived out Acts 20:24, "But none of these things move me..."

He boarded that ship as a victim and before long he was a victor!!

How can you and I be victorious?

Don't get me wrong this is not about accomplishing things in our own effort, strength or sheer grit. It's when I am fragile, fatigued and failing that He shows up big time! Claim these promises for your own:

  • "The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart trusts Him. I was helped, my heart rejoiced, and I thank Him with my song. The Lord is his people’s strength; He is a fortress of protection for his anointed one." Psalm 28:7-8

  • 2 Corinthians 12:9 "And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

  • Ephesians 6:10 "Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and His powerful strength."

  • 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind."

Now here's our marching orders:

  • Jeremiah 29: 12-14 "Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord..."

  • Philippians 3:12-13 "Not that I have already attained,[a] or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have [b]apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead."

  • Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

  • Hebrews 12:2 "Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith..."

  • James 1:27 "Keep yourself unspotted from the world..."

  • James 4:8 "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you..."

“Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.”
