I believe the only fitting response to His pursuit of our hearts

is to wholeheartedly seek Him in return."

C.H. Spurgeon shares, "He is ever near when we are sick, feeble and beaten down. Underneath dying saints there is a living God!" Dying...  dying to self, dying to dreams, maybe it's a new season where your passion or calling is being redirected, we die to the familiar and comfortable. Maybe it's a relationship that meant everything to you, now you wait while He works. Perhaps it's a path you were following that's taken a detour you didn't expect, still "underneath are the everlasting arms."

"The pillows have been beaten up for you, and made as soft as they can be; and the bed, which is so apt to grow hard, has been tenderly smoothed by kind fingers; yet you sink back in exhaustion. Sink back, then; be not afraid, for "underneath are the everlasting arms." Just when there is nothing left to us, then God comes in with all His fulness, and bears us up." No matter where we are led by Him, "underneath are the everlasting arms." C.H. Spurgeon

"Underneath are the everlasting arms."
