Just Coast - Fast Can Wait

THOUGH OUR SUMMER TRAVELS may take us to many memorable places it was one of those blazing hot summer days when I was driving on a crowded Southern California freeway and had a blowout. Maneuvering to a safe place on the side of the freeway I contacted Roadside Assistance, and then I waited and waited... I was hot, depleted, and drained! I can't tell you how relieved I was to see that AAA truck pull up and the friendly technician greeted me. He replaced my tire and promptly got me on my way.

Do you know that we, like the Roadside Assistance Promise, are a safety net for friends and family? We have spiritual refreshment for those who have a dead battery spiritually speaking and may be in need of a jump-start. We have the solution for neighbors and strangers all around us who are having blowouts. Click here to read the Roadside Assistance Promise and see who needs the greatest safety net of all - Jesus.

A Home to Keep: DIY! Wherever Your Path has Taken You - It's Time to Tell Your Story

Ways to Capture Your Story

There are countless ways to mark those fleeting moments that we know have somehow impacted us. Moments that will get away from us unless we draw them to us, hold them closely and capture them. It's in some way collecting the late afternoon sun glow through an open window with the dancing curtain in its breeze. It's watching someone turn after a long goodbye, wondering when that next hug will come. How can we hold on to those moments to reflect, enjoy and grow from them?

"Honoring memories and meaningful moments for all seasons."

As I began this collection of ways for you to remember your summer road trips and vacations it turned into ways to honor memories and meaningful moments for all seasons.  Sometimes it's the collecting of the bits of the everyday to hold onto, sometimes it's a flower plucked along a pathway, or a marble your grand darling digs out of his pocket to give to you. Click here to discover memorable ways to capture these moments and tell your story in every season.

"We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone."

Mixing Bowl: Recipes! Linda's Lemon Brownies

Lemon Brownies

$3.50/$36.00 per dozen

"Yes, you read that right…LEMON brownies! They are brownies in that they are moist, chewy, and delicious, but full of real lemon flavor! We zest and squeeze actual lemons and add white chocolate chips to make them even more irresistible."

In our travels to Carmel and Monterey we stopped by Reba's Bakery in Carmel. What a treat to have one of her Lemon Brownies! It was sweet and tart and chewy and DIVINE!

Sweet Reba wasn’t inclined to give me her recipe so I tasked myself to duplicate it, for your summer pleasure you will find my recipe here. To make it even easier I have started with a lemon cake mix making this a quick dessert to put together. If you need someone to help lick the spoon this is a fun dessert to make with children or grand darlings too.

Click here for all the details to get it made today!

Whether you're lazing with a picnic or watching the late afternoon sun glow through an open window with the curtains dancing in the breeze I hope it's with a Lemon Brownie in hand and a friend across the table sipping a cold glass of lemonade.
